Life Sciences Discovery Fund (LSDF) commercialization grants fund promising, early-stage technologies on their pathway to becoming new products and services. LSDF has assembled, and will continue to assemble, a cadre of experts to review the commercial merit of proposals submitted under a competitive process. Reviewers will be drawn from this cadre to complement the subject matter of the proposals.
LSDF welcomes and invites nominations of individuals from the life sciences, entrepreneurial and investment communities for participation as commercial grant proposal reviewers. Individuals may self-nominate or recommend names of colleagues. LSDF will provide a modest honorarium for participation on review panels.
Reviewers must have demonstrated, direct experience in commercializing technologies within the life sciences or health-care sectors. Such experience may have been obtained as an active investor, inventor or entrepreneur, or from other relevant participation in the process of moving new technologies through the research and development phase to the marketplace.

As a Washington State Authority, LSDF is committed to the highest standards of integrity and objectivity. LSDF has conflict of interest and confidentiality policies in place for external expert grant reviewers. Commercial grant proposal reviewers must comply with these policies.
The LSDF 2010 Grant Competitions web page has key dates for the current commercialization grant competitions.
Commercial grant proposal reviewers aid LSDF in its mission to more effectively promote entrepreneurism and economic development within the State of Washington.
