2010 Commercialization Grant Competition - Round 2 Now OpenLSDF is now accepting pre-proposals in a second round of the 2010 Commercialization Grant Competition. Pre-proposals are required and must be received no later than August 18, 2010, 5 PM Pacific Time.

Opportunity Grant Pre-Proposals Now Being Accepted Opportunity grants support extraordinary proposals with the potential to advance life sciences research or research infrastructure within Washington's non-profit and public institutions. Proposed "opportunities" must be time-sensitive and show a significant leverage of LSDF funding and statewide benefit. Pre-proposal submission is required. Only those pre-proposals that are consistent with the opportunity grant goals will be invited to submit a full proposal.

2010 Project Grant Competition Cancelled The amount of funding available to LSDF from the 2010 tobacco settlement payment to Washington was less than anticipated, and, given the volatility within the economy, LSDF is unable to make accurate projections about funding for 2011. In light of these facts, LSDF regrets to announce the cancellation of the 2010 Project Grant Competition.
